Indoor plants are selected based on the outlook and aesthetics of a person and the kind of vibe they want to create in their home. But what many are not aware is that greenery not only adds a good vibe and purify the air but also bring health, wealth, and love.

According to Feng Shui there are friendly plants that can help you bring ecological balance and also a generous dose of fortune.

Here are some plants that will bring luck to your home:

  1. Palms

Due to their sheer size palms are great to create dividers.

With their tropical and breezy feel they inject a bit of natural appeal. Palms trigger any lost Feng Shui element within a room. They also attract good energy and remove the harmful dust elements from carpets.

  1. Pachira Money Tree

It is often said that Money Plant is lucky for home. In Feng Shui the Pachira money tree is believed to attract wealth and bring good luck. One needs to have three to five braided plants for the luck to come in. It is advised not to have four plants. To be lucky the leaves must also have at least five fingers.

The advantage is that it is low maintenance.

  1. Snake Plant

The snake plant or the mother-in-law’s tongue is deemed to be a plant of good luck when placed in an ideal position as it absorbs the poisonous gases from the air. It shields the residents from negative Chi and exudes strong protective energy.

The plant is often considered as a bad plant in Feng Shui, but it provides a strong positive vibe when placed in a secluded area in a crowded home. By removing the toxins from the air it improves indoor air quality.

  1. Jade Plant

The jade plant can bring success and prosperity. It is suited to be placed at the entrance of houses and is often gifted to owners of businesses.  

  1. Potted Orchids

Orchids, according to Feng Shui, have the unique ability to bring good luck and enhance the chance of finding love. It releases oxygen at night giving the residents a good night’s sleep too.

  1. Basil or Tulsi

In India, tulsi is a revered plant and holds tremendous mythological and religious significance in the Hindu philosophy. This significance is rooted in its power to eradicate negative energy, stimulate positivity and purification. It is believed that when eaten it can fill you with a sense of calmness.

  1. Peace Lily

As per Feng Shui Peace Lily is a fortune plant. All types of environmental contaminants can be cleansed by this plant.

It needs very little light and thrives best in shade. In artificial light also the plant grows producing white flowers. It is striking in appeal and is low maintenance too.

  1. Rubber Plant

The rubber plant is known for its auspiciousness and austerity and can be placed in any spot. In Feng Shui its round leaves are regarded as symbolic of prosperity and money. The plant fosters abundance, fortune, and increase in wealth when placed in the home.

Any tropical plant, according to Feng Shui, aids in removing toxins from the air thereby invigorating peace, prosperity and positivity.
