Diffusers create a fine mist. They are easy to use. All you need to do is add a few drops of essential oil after filling it with water and then turn it on. The scent of the essential oils will be filled throughout your house.

It is not possible to cover unpleasant smells to eliminate them. To get rid of the source of bad smells a good cleaning session that leaves behind a fresh scent is what you need. Use a scented cleaning vinegar. It will not only leave behind a fresh scent but also cleans effectively.

Another easy and quick way to eliminate bad odour from your home is by using essential oils. Mix a bit of baking soda and water. Add your favourite essential oil and pour it into a small spray bottle. It can be used as a fabric refreshing spray. But remember to shake well before using. For a natural energy boost using sweet orange, grapefruit, tangerine and lemon. Lavender is also a great choice as it can calm your senses.

The fibers in your carpet are one of the most overlooked spots for unwanted smells. By using deodorizing carpet powder you can get rid of those odors! Before vacuuming sprinkle the powder on your carpets. It will not only leave behind a fresh scent but will also enable to clean dirt and hair from the carpet easily.

Potted plants not only look good but are also natural air purifiers. Peace lilies, snake plants, orchids and palm trees are great indoor plants that will act as natural air purifiers.

To freshen the air any time of the year stovetop potpourri is a great way! In a saucepan fill water, and then add your favorite herbs and sliced lemon. Let it simmer on low heat.
